Deirdre has over ten years of experience in EMS, having been a paramedic for seven years, with significant emergency and transfer experience for the chronically ill. She is a Clinical Field Supervisor, Field Training Officer, and Emergency Medical Dispatcher. She was the recipient of the 2012 Region IV ALS Provider of the Year Award. Deirdre is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
Deirdre is interested in Community Paramedicine as a way to assist patients in facing the challenges of adapting to the changes that they face after an acute health crisis. She is motivated to help patients return to a high quality of life thru education and compassion.
